Despite our morning departure snafu's, we made it to my "Happy Place" beside the Toe River at Mountain River Family Campground in Newland, NC. And as it has every year for the last 5 of the 6 years we've come here, we had a downpour shortly after getting all set up.🤣 Every single year! That's ok, it was short-lived and we are enjoying the propane fire pit as temps dip into the mid 60's. Ain't life grand! It looks like we are on Imagine row here too 😉 (Mine is hiding behind the van)
