Just wanted to make a post on my recent trip down to Goshen, Indiana last Tuesday to all my Lippert Scouts family. The reason I went down is that we were selected to receive and test a Lippert ABS system on our camper. As many of you know that this is a huge safety improvement, improving control in emergency braking situations by preventing trailer wheels from locking up. This is a system that I hope all RV manufacturers make as standard equipment. Besides the improved braking, this system also provides a digital odometer and system monitoring when paired to the Lippert One Control App. I can tell you that my odometer in the truck matched the 234 miles on the way back from Goshen. I'm super excited to provide feedback to you and Lippert for the new ABS system as we put more miles on it during our camping season. The parts for the system included new axles with specially designed backing plates to house the sensors. Heavy duty shackles, springs, and the module itself. (All of the electronics are located beneath the underbelly of the camper, and I'm unable to take pictures of them) For more information on the Lippert Anti-lock Braking System, see the below link. Or as always just ask me, and I'll do my best to answer any questions. We are looking forward to the 4,300-mile journey to the Lippert Getaway (fingers crossed that we get a spot) in Idaho later this year with this added layer of safety . https://www.lci1.com/products/rv-supplier/abs Special thanks goes out to Wes, Tanya, Morgan, Craig, Christy, Suzie, Josh, Briton, and the Renberg's for making the trip a memorable one. And all the Lippert staff that I didn't mention, thank you! Happy camping everyone. The Cook Family.
