Lippert Slimrack Slide out Motor failure. We own a 2022 Mirada 315KS by Coachmen. What a nightmare trying to get to the motor. Motor #1 on the slide where the refrigerator sits located on the passenger side failed on a closed position. Called a mobile service tech from my RV Repair Guy in Palmetto FL, Dennis Stockton who is trained by lippert and RVSA. He arrived and attempted to open the slide. Negative results on that ! He swapped the harnesses on the main control module and by using his tester direct connect module to operate the faulty motor, negative results on that as well. Motor was dead. Long story short. To get to the motor with the passenger slide out on a closed position, you have to cut / remove some of the side facia board next to the refrigerator. The slide out with the faulty motor installed will not budge. We tried pushing it out with 3 man, slide would not move. There’s no emergency crank nor a by pass function to open the slide. What you maybe thinking is correct, “yes, if you own this coach, the side facia will need to be removed” this is a job that is needed to be done from the inside to get to this motor. I called Lippert and they were amazing, they are shipping us a new motor that was covered by warranty. Dennis was amazing, knowledgeable and professional. Here’s some pictures.
